Program Overview

This unique educational program aims to help HCPs better: summarize the importance of specialist evaluation of genetic data to establish a diagnosis of developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs), assess clinical data with treatments indicated for the specialized care of patients with DEE based on efficacy and safety outcomes, including non-seizure outcomes and recognize the role of the specialist in leading multidisciplinary teams to optimize transitions of care.

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of epileptologists, adult neurologists, and pediatric neurologists, as well as primary care physicians, and advanced practices providers (NP/PA) participating in the multi-disciplinary care of patients with epilepsy.

Learning Objectives

Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:

  • Summarize the importance of specialist evaluation of genetic data to establish a diagnosis of developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs)
